The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Gustaw Nowak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 3rd minute of play. Casper Claes was a little too slow when Tristan Lannister got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. Casper Claes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tristan Lannister's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 12th minute of play forced Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goalkeeper Gustaw Nowak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustaw Nowak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gustaw Nowak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Belgium's Casper Claes got control of the ball when Zbyszek Le Bonniec tried to sneak it across the goal line. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciccio Kowalczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute of the match Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy got a corner. Belgium's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ciccio Kowalczyk ran over to the corner to take the kick. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Pedro Dracena in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that José Pedro Dracena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Claes was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 27th minute of play forced Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goalkeeper Gustaw Nowak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Gustaw Nowak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Lenny Clocheret got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Gustaw Nowak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 34th minute of the match. Casper Claes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tristan Lannister's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Ciccio Kowalczyk's late challenge caught a Belgium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciccio Kowalczyk helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Ciccio Kowalczyk got a free kick in the 37th minute. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszek Le Bonniec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belgium's Sander Dermaut managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ciccio Kowalczyk in the 41 minute of the game. Sander Dermaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaw Nowak having to interfere. Tristan Lannister's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Belgium's Nigel Devos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Stig-Arne Soned in the 45 minute of the game. 47 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Tristan Lannister came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tristan Lannister to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, José Pedro Dracena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Casper Claes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 56thth minute of the game Zbyszek Le Bonniec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Casper Claes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Belgium defense, José Pedro Dracena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Claes. The Belgium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Claes should have stopped the shot. Gustaw Nowak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tristan Lannister in the 69th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Tristan Lannister to fire away a dangerous shot which Casper Claes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Gustaw Nowak in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Gustaw Nowak skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With an all-out effort, Belgium's Gustaw Nowak threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edward Vanderstraeten, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 80th match minute, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciccio Kowalczyk to maneuver through the defense. After 85 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Laurens Vandamme. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy made a substitution. Rafal Ludwiczak replaced Zbyszek Le Bonniec. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Laurens Vandamme got a free kick in the 86th minute. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Gustaw Nowak made a huge save. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgium's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goalie and right to Yves Dervaux. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 91 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustaw Nowak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goalkeeper Gustaw Nowak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Belgium were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edward Vanderstraeten took the corner. The corner led Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten to fire away a dangerous shot which Gustaw Nowak despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy fans cheered their team off the field, for while Belgium had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
