Rogelio Bilbo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rodrigo Gau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pegale De Puntín's Rodrigo Gau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balazs Lajos in the 83rd minute of play. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute Takacs Tibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Gau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pegale De Puntín throughout the match.
