Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Atilla Açıkalın kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Atilla Açıkalın kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. After 8 minutes Portugal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hasan Tahsin Polatalp who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 9th minute of play forced Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's goalkeeper Batıkan Muhsin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Batıkan Muhsin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. Batıkan Muhsin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Portugal's Viriato Moura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Batıkan Muhsin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Hasan Tahsin Polatalp got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wilson Amorim quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batıkan Muhsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Viriato Moura made the kick off in the second half. Portugal's Bruno Bastos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bernardo Sasso, made in the 51st minute of the game. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Atilla Açıkalın got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Viriato Moura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Batıkan Muhsin was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilla Açıkalın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Mustafa İzzet Hazer hit a great ball. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilla Açıkalın, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
