Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked off to start the match. Videl Pando hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Hahay's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Espen Granerud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Espen Granerud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Espen Granerud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Espen Granerud. Hahay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gijsbert ter Kruimer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 26th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Espen Granerud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Espen Granerud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Witalis Tamulewicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hahay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Hahay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witalis Tamulewicz to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Hahay's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Espen Granerud came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esteve Baristo during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Hahay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Baristo to maneuver through the defense. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Espen Granerud having to interfere. When Walery Roman fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hahay's protests and gave Walery Roman a yellow card for diving instead. Netherlands made a substitution. Kevin Drogt replaced Egbert Nijveldt. Espen Granerud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Espen Granerud successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arkadiusz Walec took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The throw-in from Kees Mooiweer in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Hahay's Leonard Gardocki. Hahay's Iwo Rykaczewski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kees Mooiweer, made in the 66th minute of the game. Hahay made a substitution. Iwan Skaradoski replaced Mariusz Olejarz. A collision led to Hahay getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Esteve Baristo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 72nd minute of play forced Hahay's goalkeeper Espen Granerud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hahay's zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Espen Granerud came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiusz Walec came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Hahay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krzysztof Soroka didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Lars Meesters left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Hahay made a substitution. Norbert Ciempa replaced Krzysztof Soroka. Norbert Ciempa kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Witalis Tamulewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Hahay were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Videl Pando took the corner. Netherlands were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
