They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. Sporting Uai MzC™'s Charles Müller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Eikelkamp in the 53rd minute of play. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Netherlands played a much better game than Sporting Uai MzC™ and deserved their victory. The Sporting Uai MzC™ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
