Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Saul Silvanito started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Germán Verdi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn. Germán Verdi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Héctor-Horacio Scotta in the 7th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Tata Rușanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Silvanito succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 15th playminute. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Héctor-Horacio Scotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 19 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Cable a Tierra's Héctor-Horacio Scotta fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 20 minutes into the game, Chris Mergenthaler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cable a Tierra the free kick. In the 20th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. Germany's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Héctor-Horacio Scotta 25 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Héctor-Horacio Scotta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 4-0 in the 37 minute of play. Saul Silvanito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Benjamin Fernado in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Germany's Willy Stieler. 53 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's goalkeeper Tata Rușanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. The corner ended in Milton Cascos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. Benjamin Fernado made in the 65th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Saul Silvanito immediately put the ball in play. The supporters of Cable a Tierra booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Krakouer didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Holweck in the 72nd minute of play forced Cable a Tierra's goalkeeper Tata Rușanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Germany booed when Cable a Tierra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Fernado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saul Silvanito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Martin Mero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 97th minute, Alonzo Janpier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Cable a Tierra were the better team. Cable a Tierra's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
