Lucas Navarro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Ken Ivey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 22nd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Frank Sachs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of ForestFire booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Krakouer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Janik Vogt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. In the 39th minute Ken Ivey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Ken Ivey came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito James, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ken Ivey to make the kick off. Lucas Navarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Cãlin Tâmbalari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 62nd minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Ken Ivey came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to ForestFire getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Danial Dunbar hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ken Ivey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. In the 90th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Navarro might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas Navarro ran back to his position shaking his head. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ken Ivey in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute Lucas Navarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germany succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though ForestFire had controlled the match.
