After 10 minutes of play, Hungary's Antal Valentin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wes Gillespie was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 13 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ForestFire's Wes Gillespie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 19th minute of play forced ForestFire's goalkeeper Wes Gillespie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, ForestFire's goal looked a bit too open when Balazs Lajos came free, but Wes Gillespie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wes Gillespie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Whitney Pelletier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Wes Gillespie made a huge save. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. Balazs Lajos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Wes Gillespie made a huge save. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the ForestFire defense, Antal Valentin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wes Gillespie. The ForestFire fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wes Gillespie should have stopped the shot. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wes Gillespie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. ForestFire's Wes Gillespie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save ForestFire from getting a goal against them. Wes Gillespie was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Antal Valentin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Antal Valentin really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. ForestFire's Wes Gillespie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save ForestFire from getting a goal against them. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in ForestFire's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wes Gillespie came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ForestFire's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Balazs Lajos scored to the left of an out of position Wes Gillespie, making the score, 0-9. Wes Gillespie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wes Gillespie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 87 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Hungary's Antal Valentin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wes Gillespie. Wes Gillespie yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11.
