When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yustedjo Kurnia made a kick off. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Butar-butar, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. A nice corner shot did that Adjat Dinanto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Casper Claes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 64 minutes into the match, BASEL FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Teddy Apriantara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Yves Dervaux could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Teddy Apriantara however easily saved by the left post. BASEL FC's Teddy Apriantara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save BASEL FC from getting a goal against them. Edward Vanderstraeten took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teddy Apriantara. Teddy Apriantara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. The BASEL FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teddy Apriantara should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teddy Apriantara was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-9. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgium's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Vanderstraeten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teddy Apriantara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes into the game, Alex Hutasoit was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BASEL FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgium the free kick. After 86 played minutes BASEL FC got a freekick which was hit by Alex Hutasoit. After 89 played minutes BASEL FC got a freekick which was hit by Awa Kalengkongan. Belgium's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
