Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Valter Xabat dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wilson Amorim, 1-0. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Valter Xabat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. Alemannia Aachen's Jess Carnduff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 11th minute of play. Portugal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felipe Barreto in the 16th minute. The corner led Portugal's Caetano Moreira to fire away a dangerous shot which Jess Carnduff despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Kottsieper in the 19th minute of play. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jess Carnduff having to make a save. In the 30th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jess Carnduff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Alemannia Aachen getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Aulis Salomaa hit a great ball. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jess Carnduff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jess Carnduff didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caetano Moreira went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 46 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Müller came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Manfred Kottsieper kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. With a little luck, Alemannia Aachen's Jess Carnduff got control of the ball when Felipe Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Jess Carnduff successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 60 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jess Carnduff. Alemannia Aachen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Graciano Coutinho hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. The supporters of Alemannia Aachen booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graciano Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alemannia Aachen's Thomas Müller in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Portugal's goalie prevented a goal. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias-Alexander Leers in the 79th minute of play. In the 79th minute Mathias-Alexander Leers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Alemannia Aachen's goal looked a bit too open when Felipinho Amorim came free, but Jess Carnduff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valter Xabat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
