Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Antal Valentin got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Bon Jović was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1947 FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. Bon Jović hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 1947 FC's Brian Johnson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 7th minute of play. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Alejo Idacio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brian Johnson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balazs Lajos, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Alejo Idacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Hungary's Balazs Lajos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brian Johnson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Johnson having to interfere. Alejo Idacio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 1947 FC were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristobal Baumar took the corner. The corner led 1947 FC's Cristobal Baumar to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Brian Johnson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hegedus Henrik in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brian Johnson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antal Valentin's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Brian Johnson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 43rd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Hegedus Henrik got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Brian Johnson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Alejo Idacio made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Andrzej Mlekodaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Johnson having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Brian Johnson in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 1947 FC made a substitution. Goren Baños replaced Alejo Idacio. In the 68th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. Hungary's Antal Valentin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Brian Johnson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 71 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Goren Baños came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hegedus Henrik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Armando Fasoli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fodor Daniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 1947 FC's Brian Johnson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save 1947 FC from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind 1947 FC's goalkeeper Brian Johnson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Goren Baños left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1947 FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The 1947 FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
