The coaching staff of Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Leslie Nilsen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ovidio Furman to make the kick off. Lars Meesters charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lars Meesters the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lars Meesters kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
