Chris Mergenthaler hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After 19 minutes, Chris Mergenthaler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Cura del Futbol players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Alberto Quilo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alberto Quilo really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After 47 played minutes Cura del Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Gergori. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celso Fix stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Ulrich Stein. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 61st minute. Ulrich Stein hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Celso Fix might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celso Fix ran back to his position shaking his head. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Fix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Natalio Gergori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cura del Futbol's Jiang Lei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Cura del Futbol from getting a goal against them. Chris Mergenthaler kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Fix in the 89th minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Fix in the 92nd minute of the match. The supporters of Germany booed when Cura del Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Lain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
