The audience thought a goal was coming when Thiago Gol got free with Ivar Unesson in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as SCs StarS's Thiago Gol slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivar Unesson. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. 16 minutes into the match, Thiago Gol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivar Unesson. Porjus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thiago Gol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 19 minutes into the match, Thiago Gol dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ivar Unesson, 3-0. Ivar Unesson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thiago Gol in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute SCs StarS were awarded a corner. Florian Hekman went to the cornerflag to take it. Florian Hekman made a great header on SCs StarS's corner, it was just that Porjus's Ivar Unesson managed to reach the ball for a save. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Åhlberg in the 35th minute of play. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Termander in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Porjus's goalkeeper Ivar Unesson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ivar Unesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Jelm in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

SCs StarS's Henk Zijden was substituted for Edgar Reitsema. In the 52ndth minute of the game Thiago Gol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Porjus's Ivar Unesson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jordy Dirks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordy Dirks in the 66th minute of play forced Porjus's goalkeeper Ivar Unesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69thth minute of the game Georg Termander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SCs StarS's Petr Čech was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ivar Unesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Hekman, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Porjus's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Gol came free, but Ivar Unesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Porjus's goal looked a bit too open when Jordy Dirks came free, but Ivar Unesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SCs StarS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
