Sakarias Berggren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Rasmus Nyman put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Viktor Kjellman. After 31 played minutes UÅ Mästerbotten got a freekick which was hit by Svante Hägert. After some careless play in the UÅ Mästerbotten defense, Urbano Roldanillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sakarias Berggren. The UÅ Mästerbotten fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sakarias Berggren should have stopped the shot. The supporters of UÅ Mästerbotten booed when Gnaget AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvin Carlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Gnaget AIK's goalkeeper Viktor Kjellman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pelle Vidman. Sakarias Berggren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Ove Dahlman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 minutes of play, Gnaget AIK's Stig-Åke Wall made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sakarias Berggren was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Andreas Lundin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sakarias Berggren was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The referee gave UÅ Mästerbotten a penalty, 75 minutes into the game. Andreas Lundin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Sakarias Berggren made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 98 minutes, Sakarias Berggren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gnaget AIK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
