After 9 minutes Astral Roots Gdynia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zhuo Xi Ting who took care of the corner kick. 10 minutes into the game, Czeslaw Pinczewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Astral Roots Gdynia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Heretique the free kick. The supporters of FC Heretique booed when Astral Roots Gdynia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Czeslaw Pinczewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute of the match FC Heretique got a corner. Astral Roots Gdynia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zhuo Xi Ting ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led FC Heretique's Naelio Pozos to fire away a dangerous shot which Oliver Dovina despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juliusz Paraszczuk in the 19th minute of play forced Astral Roots Gdynia's goalkeeper Oliver Dovina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes, Marian Serwach mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Astral Roots Gdynia and the FC Heretique players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Astral Roots Gdynia's Marian Serwach got a free kick in the 24th minute. Tobiasz Tracs short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Oliver Dovina to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zhuang Guo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 38 in the game by Juliusz Paraszczuk from a close distance when the talented Oliver Dovina managed to make a qualified save. Astral Roots Gdynia's players were relieved. Juliusz Paraszczuk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Oliver Dovina came out and tried to block the shot, but Juliusz Paraszczuk slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute Juliusz Paraszczuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Dovina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliver Dovina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juliusz Paraszczuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juliusz Paraszczuk to strike the kick off in the second half. FC Heretique's Zhuang Guo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save FC Heretique from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Przemyslaw Cieslak got free with Zhuang Guo in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the game, Przemyslaw Cieslak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Zhuang Guo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Tobiasz Trac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 69 minutes, Przemyslaw Cieslak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Astral Roots Gdynia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Przemyslaw Cieslak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, FC Heretique's Zhuang Guo got control of the ball when Przemyslaw Cieslak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Astral Roots Gdynia's Oliver Dovina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobiasz Trac in the 78th minute of play. Czeslaw Pinczewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zhuang Guo having to interfere. FC Heretique's Zbyszko Filanowski was substituted for Tobiasz Kalemba. Oliver Dovina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pawel Munko in the 85th minute of the match. Zhuang Guo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Przemyslaw Cieslak in the 91st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Astral Roots Gdynia's Przemyslaw Cieslak slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zhuang Guo. That made the score 4-2 after 94 minutes of play. Astral Roots Gdynia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
