Barışcan Akova spun around in front of the goal 44 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Gnaget AIK's goal. In the 46th minute Stig-Åke Wall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christopher Reimann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Gnaget AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klas Kämpe to maneuver through the defense. The Gnaget AIK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Eregli SK were winning 0-3.

In the 76th minute, Eregli SK's Seçkin Öksüzoğlu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Christopher Reimann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvin Carlsson in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match, Seçkin Öksüzoğlu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sven-Åke Springfält was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The nice shot from Vasko Zagorchev in the 94thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Sven-Åke Springfält had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Eregli SK played a much better game than Gnaget AIK and deserved their victory. The Gnaget AIK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
