Drago Nair took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Orlando Gatti. Hugo Orlando Gatti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Consejo del Mate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Radiohead Freaks Club the free kick. After a rather tough play, Consejo del Mate's Peyo Fonelleda got a free kick in the 44th minute. Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Drago Nair in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Drago Nair to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Drago Nair took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Hugo Orlando Gatti to make any attempt to save it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Radiohead Freaks Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
