Kamal Pahlevi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Trigo in the 27th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Adhemar Valadares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Irreal Madrid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tirant lo Blanch the free kick. A collision led to Irreal Madrid getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Adhemar Valadares hit a great ball. In the 35th minute Afonsinho Mattos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamal Pahlevi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kamal Pahlevi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonsinho Mattos in the 37th minute of play. Song Peng Han kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Tirant lo Blanch's Kamal Pahlevi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Trigo in the 43rd minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodolfo Trigo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the final whistle sounded Tirant lo Blanch left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Irreal Madrid.
