Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Terra in the 2nd minute of play. Fred Åkerström might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmond Verdun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fred Åkerström ran back to his position shaking his head. Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Åkerström, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Tate in the 19th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Åkerström in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmond Verdun saved Errecaborda AFC from getting behind. Playa Malvín's Vladimiro Marquez managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Valko De Hond in the 23 minute of the game. 24 minutes into the game, Michael Guisla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Playa Malvín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Errecaborda AFC the free kick. After 24 played minutes Playa Malvín got a freekick which was hit by Michael Guisla. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Rameriz in the 27th minute of the match. Fred Åkerström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd match minute, Errecaborda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valko De Hond to maneuver through the defense. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Rameriz in the 38th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Valko De Hond was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Errecaborda AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Playa Malvín the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Errecaborda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valko De Hond to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Fred Åkerström made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Fred Åkerström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Playa Malvín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Fred Åkerström struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Edmond Verdun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Playa Malvín. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Jerardo in the 58th minute of the match. When Fred Åkerström came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Playa Malvín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred Åkerström couldn't finish the play. Playa Malvín's Josu Onez was substituted for Jabier Igual. Edmond Verdun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niva Espellosa went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. 69 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's Niva Espellosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmond Verdun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Niva Espellosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Prospero Jerardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Zé Roberto Teixeira made a huge save. 78 minutes into the match, Joe Tate dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zé Roberto Teixeira, 4-2. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Rameriz in the 82nd minute of play. The throw-in from Valko De Hond in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Playa Malvín's Sesuldo Roque. In the 93rd minute, Niva Espellosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the game, Clemente Silviano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Errecaborda AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Playa Malvín the free kick. Errecaborda AFC:s Edmond Verdun showed great skill when he stopped Gonzalo Castro:s penalty. Many of Errecaborda AFC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Errecaborda AFC may have spent more time on the ball, but Playa Malvín were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
