But to his dismay, Peyo Fonelleda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Baltasar Matias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peyo Fonelleda in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to VB-Team getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Shao Kun Yuan hit a great ball. Peyo Fonelleda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Baltasar Matias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. VB-Team's Baltasar Matias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peyo Fonelleda in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Peyo Fonelleda made a precise shot to the right of Baltasar Matias. VB-Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. A throw-in in the 18th minute of the game was made by Mattias Jonasson with Gervásio Severiano as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 20 minutes of play, Consejo del Mate's Peyo Fonelleda made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baltasar Matias was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the game, Consejo del Mate's Peyo Fonelleda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baltasar Matias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Baltasar Matias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peyo Fonelleda, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Luís Braga came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hugo Orlando Gatti could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Consejo del Mate's Honorato Zambujal got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 38 minutes VB-Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vicente Pernia who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Vicente Pernia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Baltasar Matias quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vicente Pernia hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Joaquim de Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Hugo Orlando Gatti made a huge save. Baltasar Matias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peyo Fonelleda in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Consejo del Mate were awarded a corner. Vicente Pernia went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of VB-Team's goalie and right to Fagildo Pamanes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. VB-Team's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquim de Barros to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Luís Braga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VB-Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. 59 minutes into the game, Peyo Fonelleda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Baltasar Matias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Peyo Fonelleda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baltasar Matias came out and tried to block the shot, but Peyo Fonelleda slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 64th minute. Baltasar Matias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peyo Fonelleda in the 68th minute. Peyo Fonelleda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. VB-Team made a substitution. Luís Caeiro replaced Joaquim de Barros. In the 75th minute Luís Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Braga came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored Consejo del Mate's protests and gave Fagildo Pamanes a yellow card for diving instead. Fagildo Pamanes hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Luís Braga scored 2-8 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goal looked a bit too open when Shao Kun Yuan came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. VB-Team were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Consejo del Mate's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luís Braga took the corner. The corner led VB-Team's Luís Braga to fire away a dangerous shot which Hugo Orlando Gatti despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Consejo del Mate eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
