A sloppy throw-in by Gust Ennemans in the 5th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Kwyjibo's Jorrin Ascargorta. Mathias Jakobsson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 11th playminute. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hug Urquiaga's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 played minutes, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sylwester Wawro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Netherlands reached it. The audience was convinced that Gustaaf Groeneveldt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sylwester Wawro was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Sylwester Wawro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Kwyjibo's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Sylwester Wawro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 37th minute of play forced Kwyjibo's goalkeeper Sylwester Wawro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Sylwester Wawro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Gust Ennemans got a free kick in the 44th minute. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hug Urquiaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hug Urquiaga was the one to do the kick off. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylwester Wawro having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Burgo came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sylwester Wawro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 57th minute of the match. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Kwyjibo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. After 60 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by David Eikelkamp. In the 62nd minute Christian Burgo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Kwyjibo's Christian Burgo in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Netherlands's goalie prevented a goal. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbes Seseña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sylwester Wawro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. David Eikelkamp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Sylwester Wawro made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Sylwester Wawro in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sylwester Wawro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 75th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Burgo came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Kwyjibo's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Sylwester Wawro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mathijn Doctor kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Christian Burgo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kwyjibo had won after a very even match.
