When Huvudstaden's Peder Sarstedt in the 2nd minute got a chance for a shot 2nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Denmark's goalie prevented a goal. The Huvudstaden fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Huvudstaden's Peder Sarstedt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Peder Sarstedt was extremely unlucky when he, in the 5th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tage Rudqvist in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute, Mathias Ludvigsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute of the match Patrik Heggert sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keld Paulsen skillfully saved the ball. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Heggert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Huvudstaden booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Ludvigsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Patrik Heggert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute, Tage Rudqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Patrik Heggert dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Keld Paulsen, 2-0. Kent Jonasson struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huvudstaden. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Huvudstaden getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Beniamin Wolicki hit a great ball. After 44 minutes, Peder Sarstedt made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Denmark's Keld Paulsen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Peder Sarstedt made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Peder Sarstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 53 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Bjarne Kirkegaard. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tage Rudqvist in the 53rd minute of play. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Bengt Apelquist made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peder Sarstedt in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keld Paulsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peder Sarstedt in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keld Paulsen saved Denmark from getting behind. Huvudstaden made a substitution. Arvid Olsson replaced Kent Jonasson. Bengt Apelquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Huvudstaden's Peder Sarstedt got a free kick in the 74th minute. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Peder Sarstedt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peder Sarstedt in the 79th minute of the match. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tage Rudqvist in the 88th minute of play. Bengt Apelquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Keld Paulsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peder Sarstedt went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Huvudstaden's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
