The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Chris Mergenthaler a yellow card for diving instead. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Felipe Ralondo in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tommy Kahn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After taking down the ball on Lε COCO SρσяtiV's corner Qu Yun fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tommy Kahn quite easily take care of the ball. Albin Holweck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodosio Sergi having to make a save. The supporters of Lε COCO SρσяtiV booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Ralondo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Ralondo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Ralondo in the 53rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Felipe Ralondo made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Qu Yun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lε COCO SρσяtiV's supporters rose to their feet, but Qu Yun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Ralondo couldn't finish the play. Carmelo Tiniebra struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lε COCO SρσяtiV. Lε COCO SρσяtiV's Honorio Bernaldo was substituted for Freddy Hernando. Frank Sachs hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 81st match minute, Lε COCO SρσяtiV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Tiniebra to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Dacio in the 84th minute of the match. Ulrich Stein's late challenge caught a Lε COCO SρσяtiV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulrich Stein helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Ulrich Stein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the game, Florentino Dacio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Florentino Dacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
