After having played for 32 minutes, Zaccheo Andolina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 36th minute of play forced CA Juventud Unida's goalkeeper 袁磊竞 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CA Juventud Unida were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Italy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Clodoveo Hanni took the corner. Sigfrido Auletta went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Siricio Liotta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this 袁磊竞 quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. In the 86th minute Italy were awarded a corner. Siricio Liotta went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saverio Petrigai in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. Eliseo Cutri charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseo Cutri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Italy's Eliseo Cutri got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Italy players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
