Sanda Cutov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ovidiu Cosâmbescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romania's Sanda Cutov got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugon Brzakala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Carol Stinga made a huge save. Carol Stinga made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Hugon Brzakala sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute, Vasile Ciumak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Ovidiu Cosâmbescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Ovidiu Cosâmbescu made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Rasvan Cristescu sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Costica Vladimiri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidiu Cosâmbescu was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Ovidiu Cosâmbescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Gocław Wilga Warszawa from getting a goal against them. Sanda Cutov was slow to take the kick. During this time Romania's players had a chance to rest. Romania's Octavian Vaduva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ovidiu Cosâmbescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gocław Wilga Warszawa's goalkeeper Ovidiu Cosâmbescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ovidiu Cosâmbescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavian Vaduva in the 97th minute of play.
