An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Rico in the 12th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Power Rangers's goalkeeper Pete Schmeichel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Silverio Gaskon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Satordi got free with Fodor Daniel in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silverio Gaskon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ambrosio Guerau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pete Schmeichel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Major Barna's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Pete Schmeichel made a huge save. If Balazs Lajos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ambrosio Guerau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pete Schmeichel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than The Power Rangers.
