When Victor Blom got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Sunkens Surtröjor. After 5 played minutes Sunkens Surtröjor got a freekick which was hit by Jon Källberg. After 9 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Pimentel. 18 minutes into the game, Error Uchiha threw the ball into play from the sideline. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 20 minutes into the match, Sunkens Surtröjor's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Sokol Narev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Victor Blom showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Daniel Pimentel in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sunkens Surtröjor's Error Uchiha. 46 minutes into the match, Viriato Moura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sokol Narev. Sunkens Surtröjor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viriato Moura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viriato Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Sunkens Surtröjor's Sokol Narev got control of the ball when Felipe Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Christer Tolsson made in the 60th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Laércio Coutinho however managed to control. Felipe Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Sokol Narev made a huge save. Anton Galle ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Galle, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. If Anton Galle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 85th minute of the match, Felipinho Amorim got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sokol Narev was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 88 minutes into the match, Sunkens Surtröjor's goalkeeper Sokol Narev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipinho Amorim. In the 93rd minute of the match Ke Zheng Feng sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilson Amorim skillfully saved the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sunkens Surtröjor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
