Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 7th minute of play forced AEK S.C's goalkeeper Thanasis Koltsidas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Vaggelis Mitsiou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Vaggelis Mitsiou came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thanasis Koltsidas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Thanasis Koltsidas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 16th minute of play. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. AEK S.C's Thanasis Koltsidas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 19th minute of play. Alfaro Meo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Casper Claes made a huge save. João Francisco de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thanasis Koltsidas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanasis Koltsidas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belgium's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Vaggelis Mitsiou scored to the left of an out of position Casper Claes, making the score, 1-1. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaggelis Mitsiou in the 33rd minute of play. Laurens Vandamme kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yves Dervaux to maneuver through the defense. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vaggelis Mitsiou in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Vaggelis Mitsiou made the kick off in the second half. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Carreira in the 51st minute of play. Yves Dervaux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AEK S.C's Thalis Krommidas was substituted for Vaggelis Mitsiou. AEK S.C's Thomas Papatrechas was substituted for Marinos Sakalis. Casper Claes came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by AEK S.C's Thalis Krommidas. But to his dismay, Thalis Krommidas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Belgium's Yves Dervaux was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thanasis Koltsidas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thalis Krommidas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Belgium's attentive Sander Dermaut managed to snatch the ball when Bruno Almeida made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. Casper Claes came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by AEK S.C's Thalis Krommidas. But to his dismay, Thalis Krommidas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. When AEK S.C's Thalis Krommidas in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belgium's goalie prevented a goal. Edward Vanderstraeten came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Thanasis Koltsidas could save by the left post.
