The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Red Reign's Dawid Ratulowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Peletier in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the game Jean Bombelles made a throw-in which Camille Baume played forward. After having played for 32 minutes, Maximo Villamarin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Reign's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximo Villamarin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The wind increased when Frank Peletier made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Maximo Villamarin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Reign's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximo Villamarin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Durand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Maximo Villamarin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Baume in the 57th minute of play forced Red Reign's goalkeeper Dawid Ratulowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maxime Durand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximo Villamarin went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ximun Jaen hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Frank Peletier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dawid Ratulowski. Red Reign's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Peletier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 75 minutes of play, Red Reign's Maximo Villamarin made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maxime Durand was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Villamarin in the 82nd minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Maximo Villamarin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maxime Durand. France's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximo Villamarin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 92nd minute Camille Baume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dawid Ratulowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 minutes, Maximo Villamarin made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. France's Maxime Durand tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Red Reign were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of France for a fine match.
