Flavio Peter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Metod Mlynar in the 7th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Korneliusz Barna. Korneliusz Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrich Slany. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Korneliusz Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. Flavio Peter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Metod Mlynar in the 22nd minute of play. With a little luck, Slovakia's Henrich Slany got control of the ball when Korneliusz Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ignacio Gotzon's late challenge caught a Slovakia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ignacio Gotzon helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Batalionul U23 Dorobanti getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ignacio Gotzon hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Korneliusz Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrich Slany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korneliusz Barna in the 29th minute of play. Xerxes Doro kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Korneliusz Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Henrich Slany made an important save on a dangerous shot by Korneliusz Barna in the 32nd minute. Vít Biskup kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Jiang Lang Kun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Korneliusz Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stefan Havel kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute of the match Mugur Bejan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henrich Slany showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korneliusz Barna in the 59th minute of play forced Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Vít Biskup hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vít Biskup during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Vít Biskup got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Korneliusz Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henrich Slany came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Jiang Lang Kun. But to his dismay, Jiang Lang Kun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 71st match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xerxes Doro to maneuver through the defense. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Korneliusz Barna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 80th minute, Korneliusz Barna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrich Slany was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Vít Biskup kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Henrich Slany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Korneliusz Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
