Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ibar having to interfere. Balazs Lajos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 20th minute of play forced Florida United's goalkeeper Gabriel Ibar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ibar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruperto Amato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florida United's Gabriel Ibar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 35th minute of play. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuralp Eracar made a kick off. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Amato, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. With a little luck, Florida United's Gabriel Ibar got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. When Natalio Heriberto, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 58 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Fodor Daniel was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Jimeno Abaurre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Jimeno Abaurre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabriel Ibar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Antal Valentin got in the 72nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Gabriel Ibar handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Amato in the 75th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Natalio Heriberto put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fodor Daniel.
