After some careless play in the Scotland defense, Nikiforos Aggelou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexander Higgins. The Scotland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexander Higgins should have stopped the shot. Zac O'Donnell's late challenge caught a Airforce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zac O'Donnell helped the player get up and apologised. Scotland's Alexander Higgins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Scotland from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fletcher Main in the 34th minute of play forced Airforce's goalkeeper Zacharias Kelpekis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zac O'Donnell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zacharias Kelpekis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Airforce's goalkeeper Zacharias Kelpekis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zacharias Kelpekis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zac O'Donnell in the 56th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Nikiforos Aggelou notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Scotland's Alexander Higgins. Alexander Higgins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fletcher Main's late challenge caught a Airforce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fletcher Main helped the player get up and apologised. Alkaios Theofilakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 68 played minutes, Airforce's Ignatios Bikas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexander Higgins came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Airforce reached it. 73 minutes into the game, Nikiforos Aggelou cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Alexander Higgins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
