Takacs Tibor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Chamaicó's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Cefero came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chamaicó's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Hegedus Henrik was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Hegedus Henrik got a free kick in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Dalmacio Llorian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Dalmacio Llorian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonel Cefero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmacio Llorian came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fodor Daniel could save by the left post. In the 46th minute of the match Chamaicó got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rögnvaldur Bjarmarsson ran over to the corner to take the kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. A collision led to Chamaicó getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Joaquín García hit a great ball. Vörös Henrik kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Llorian in the 52nd minute of play. Chamaicó's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rögnvaldur Bjarmarsson in the 53rd minute. Chamaicó's Rögnvaldur Bjarmarsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Llorian in the 56th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Gerardo Abeitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Chamaicó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leigh Gibbons to maneuver through the defense. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Leonel Cefero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Leonel Cefero in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rögnvaldur Bjarmarsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Chamaicó's players had a chance to rest. Chamaicó's Leigh Gibbons was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Dalmacio Llorian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chamaicó's Leonel Cefero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Chamaicó from getting a goal against them. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Leonel Cefero made a huge save. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rögnvaldur Bjarmarsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Chamaicó's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Rögnvaldur Bjarmarsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fodor Daniel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Leonel Cefero was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Antal Valentin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Antal Valentin really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. In the 84th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Hegedus Henrik almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chamaicó's Leonel Cefero did a great save. Leonel Cefero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takacs Tibor in the 88th minute of the match. Leigh Gibbons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hegedus Henrik to maneuver through the defense. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
