In the 23rd minute, 林旭真 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 龚铮杰 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Gust Ennemans threw the ball into play from the sideline. ≮王者归来≯虎王出山's 林旭真 quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 龚铮杰 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 36th minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 龚铮杰. 龚铮杰 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 马国鹏 might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnout Reekers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 马国鹏 ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Netherlands booed when ≮王者归来≯虎王出山 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alba Pareja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramadan Hristov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. In the 80th match minute, ≮王者归来≯虎王出山 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 马国鹏 to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Ramadan Hristov came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ≮王者归来≯虎王出山's 林旭真 quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gust Ennemans, made in the 90th minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, Lars Meesters left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Netherlands had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
