Thanks to some nice moves Armando Natalucci could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Tommy Kahn however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ettore Placidi in the 5th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ettore Placidi couldn't finish the play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Natalucci in the 17th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ettore Placidi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Placidi in the 30th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 33 minutes into the game, when Sven Krakouer put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Germany:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Glasgow Rangers FC:s goal. Germany:s Tommy Kahn showed great skill when he stopped Antonio Mastrocola:s penalty. After having played for 37 minutes, Ettore Placidi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glasgow Rangers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ettore Placidi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute, Malte Schiele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glasgow Rangers FC's Antonio Mastrocola shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tommy Kahn but with some difficulty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ettore Placidi was the one to do the kick off. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Natalucci in the 53rd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Placidi came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Natalucci in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. In the 76th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Schiele to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Antonio Mastrocola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glasgow Rangers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Mastrocola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlo Attili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Antonio Mastrocola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 86th match minute, Glasgow Rangers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Comunardo De Paolis to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Germany booed when Glasgow Rangers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xie Xiang Yan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Glasgow Rangers FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
