Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Zac O'Donnell made the kick off and thus started the match. Alexander Higgins came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Lugano's Polo Maldini. But to his dismay, Polo Maldini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Benoit Ritieni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexander Higgins. Scotland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benoit Ritieni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a rather tough play, FC Lugano's Nereo Precioso got a free kick in the 9th minute. Ray Büeler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 14thth minute of the game Benoit Ritieni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scotland's Alexander Higgins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexander Testa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benoit Ritieni in the 18th minute of play forced Scotland's goalkeeper Alexander Higgins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Higgins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Precioso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benoit Ritieni scored 0-4 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexander Higgins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexander Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benoit Ritieni in the 27th minute of the match. After 28 minutes of play, FC Lugano's Benoit Ritieni made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Higgins was left in no man's land by his defense there! 31 minutes into the game, FC Lugano's Benoit Ritieni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexander Higgins made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. In the 35th minute, Robert McNeill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Nereo Precioso notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Scotland's Alexander Higgins. Alexander Higgins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 45thth minute of the game Benoit Ritieni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scotland's Alexander Higgins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When FC Lugano's Benoit Ritieni in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Scotland's goalie prevented a goal. Alexander Higgins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benoit Ritieni in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benoit Ritieni was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Benoit Ritieni kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alexander Higgins. That made the score 0-9 in the 53 minute of play. After 55 played minutes Scotland got a freekick which was hit by Jaxson Russell. FC Lugano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jirko Bur in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Benoit Ritieni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Lugano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. FC Lugano's Gregor Wirth was substituted for Jerome Achen. Benoit Ritieni took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexander Higgins. Alexander Higgins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. Nereo Precioso scored 0-12 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexander Higgins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benoit Ritieni in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Higgins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 78 in the game by Benoit Ritieni from a close distance when the talented Alexander Higgins managed to make a qualified save. Scotland's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benoit Ritieni in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexander Higgins saved Scotland from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Nereo Precioso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alexander Higgins. That made the score 0-13 in the 81 minute of play. Nereo Precioso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Higgins having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, Nepomuk Schyder recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alexander Higgins. Nepomuk Schyder showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-14. Simon Sanger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92ndth minute of the game Benoit Ritieni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scotland's Alexander Higgins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexander Higgins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benoit Ritieni, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. FC Lugano played a much better game than Scotland and deserved their victory. The Scotland players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
