Atletico Lula's Lukáč Jančich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Gallagher in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of England booed when Atletico Lula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dušan Záhoran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lukáč Jančich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 12th minute of play. After some careless play in the Atletico Lula defense, Issac Dawson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lukáč Jančich. The Atletico Lula fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lukáč Jančich should have stopped the shot. Bar Scully received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Khalid Kennedy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Khalid Kennedy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dušan Záhoran in the 22nd minute. After 24 played minutes Atletico Lula got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Mergildo. Lukáč Jančich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Issac Dawson in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Issac Dawson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukáč Jančich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 30 minutes, Kyle Cox managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. England's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kyle Cox was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Micah Macdonald in the 34th minute of play forced Atletico Lula's goalkeeper Lukáč Jančich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Atletico Lula's goal looked a bit too open when Micah Macdonald came free, but Lukáč Jančich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Khalid Kennedy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bar Scully, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atletico Lula's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Issac Dawson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kyle Cox to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Lula's zone, Micah Macdonald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lukáč Jančich came out of the goal and Micah Macdonald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Atletico Lula's Lukáč Jančich got control of the ball when Issac Dawson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Atletico Lula's goalkeeper Lukáč Jančich had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Issac Dawson. The Atletico Lula fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. England were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
