Edelmiro Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 20th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, ToCoTaN FC's Simon Wallin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by ToCoTaN FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Antal Valentin made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that ToCoTaN FC's Edelmiro Veronica managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 33rd minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Veronica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Hungary's Takacs Tibor to fire away a dangerous shot which Edelmiro Veronica despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Balazs Lajos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Edelmiro Veronica was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edelmiro Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 40th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as ToCoTaN FC's Teobaldo Txindoki slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fodor Daniel. That made the score 2-1 after 46 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Takacs Tibor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edelmiro Veronica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ToCoTaN FC's Edelmiro Veronica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Takacs Tibor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edelmiro Veronica quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Wallin in the 59th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 minutes ToCoTaN FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Hungary's Antal Valentin to fire away a dangerous shot which Edelmiro Veronica despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jethro Van Landschoot in the 69th minute of play. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Txindoki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, ToCoTaN FC's Edelmiro Veronica got control of the ball when Balazs Lajos tried to sneak it across the goal line.
