Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 5thth minute of the game Alexander Bottone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Flavio Vittori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alvaro Rotili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Bottone in the 11th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.S. Udinese's goalkeeper Alvaro Rotili, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Alexander Bottone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When A.S. Udinese's Alexander Bottone in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Italy's goalie prevented a goal. Alvaro Rotili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The throw-in from Bruno Maranzano in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Sigfrido Auletta. 33 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Alvaro Rotili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Alexander Bottone made a precise shot to the right of Flavio Vittori. Italy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After some careless play in the A.S. Udinese defense, Siricio Liotta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Rotili. The A.S. Udinese fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Rotili should have stopped the shot. Alexander Bottone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 43 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's Alexander Bottone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Vittori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute of the match A.S. Udinese got a corner. Italy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alberigo Di Franco ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led A.S. Udinese's Alberigo Di Franco to fire away a dangerous shot which Flavio Vittori despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

A.S. Udinese's Dino Pozzoli was substituted for Bruno Maranzano. A.S. Udinese's Edmondo Giorda was substituted for Merexildo Oliveras. The wind increased when Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off in the second half. Porziano Marchitelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alvaro Rotili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 53rd minute of the match. Alvaro Rotili came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Zaccheo Andolina. But to his dismay, Zaccheo Andolina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in A.S. Udinese's zone, Siricio Liotta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Rotili came out of the goal and Siricio Liotta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A.S. Udinese's Cristiano Paolucci was substituted for Augusto Clemente. Alexander Bottone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Cutri. If Zaccheo Andolina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alvaro Rotili stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zaccheo Andolina's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Alexander Bottone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Paolucci in the 80th minute of the match. Alexander Bottone struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Flavio Vittori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.S. Udinese. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. With a little luck, A.S. Udinese's Alvaro Rotili got control of the ball when Porziano Marchitelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexander Bottone walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Alvaro Rotili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Curto, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When Alexander Bottone came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the A.S. Udinese fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Bottone couldn't finish the play. Italy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
