Meng Ke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Meng Ke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 42 minutes of play, nRdLiFe's Ahmet Hakan Akçay made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 46th minute of play forced nRdLiFe's goalkeeper Meng Ke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, nRdLiFe's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Meng Ke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. nRdLiFe's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Netherlands's David Eikelkamp to fire away a dangerous shot which Meng Ke despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

51 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Meng Ke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a great ball. After 60th play minutes Dündar Ozansu shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Arnout Reekers and just under the crossbar into goal. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 played minutes, nRdLiFe's Songur Mirza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnout Reekers came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in nRdLiFe reached it. In the 71st minute, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Meng Ke. Meng Ke yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. Meng Ke was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-4 in the 76 minute of play. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 87th minute of play forced nRdLiFe's goalkeeper Meng Ke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. nRdLiFe's Meng Ke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 89th minute of play. Ahmet Hakan Akçay kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Meng Ke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 91st minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Lars Meesters got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Meng Ke quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 94 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Songur Mirza came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
