In the 10th match minute, Santos de Buenos Aires FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Fix to maneuver through the defense. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Balazs Lajos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamin Malvin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 15th minute of play. Benjamin Malvin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balazs Lajos, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Dionisio Galo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fodor Daniel. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Tiburcio Lluques's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiburcio Lluques helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Balazs Lajos. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Danilo Seber sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Santos de Buenos Aires FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Dionisio Galo hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Danilo Seber reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fodor Daniel. The goal made the score 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

53 minutes into the match, Santos de Buenos Aires FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Malvin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. Bakos Endre hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After having played for 58 minutes, Danilo Seber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Matias Remir was substituted for Blas-Armando Giunta. After taking down the ball on Santos de Buenos Aires FC's corner Matias Remir fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fodor Daniel quite easily take care of the ball. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Canor in the 76th minute of play. Bakos Endre hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Cambiasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After taking down the ball on Santos de Buenos Aires FC's corner Bruno Cambiasso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fodor Daniel quite easily take care of the ball. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Canor in the 95th minute of play. The Santos de Buenos Aires FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
