Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cido Cardozo kicked off to start the match. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido Cardozo in the 9th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cido Cardozo got free with Arnout Reekers in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cido Cardozo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cido Cardozo went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 32nd minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tifo Marinović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Obrero Barquisimeto's attentive Xurde Buiza managed to snatch the ball when Gust Ennemans made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, Cido Cardozo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal and Cido Cardozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Cido Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Obrero Barquisimeto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cido Cardozo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute Cido Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes Obrero Barquisimeto got a freekick which was hit by Richie Vasaburu. Netherlands's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Cido Cardozo scored to the left of an out of position Arnout Reekers, making the score, 2-1.

The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tifo Marinović. That made the score 2-2 after 53 minutes of play. 60 minutes into the match, Obrero Barquisimeto's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Tifo Marinović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Tifo Marinović in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute, Feo Cadorniga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Tifo Marinović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cido Cardozo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cido Cardozo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cido Cardozo in the 74th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gust Ennemans kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 79th minute of play forced Obrero Barquisimeto's goalkeeper Tifo Marinović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido Cardozo in the 80th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Franco Ternero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Obrero Barquisimeto.
