Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kryspin Lichniak in the 6th minute. Kryspin Lichniak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Fryderyk Budzynski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Autolycus's Fryderyk Budzynski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 15th minute of play. Fryderyk Budzynski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Autolycus's zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fryderyk Budzynski came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Fryderyk Budzynski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 52nd minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fryderyk Budzynski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Viator came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fryderyk Budzynski made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Eikelkamp in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Kaznocha came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fryderyk Budzynski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After some careless play in the FC Autolycus defense, Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fryderyk Budzynski. The FC Autolycus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fryderyk Budzynski should have stopped the shot. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Fryderyk Budzynski made a huge save. Fryderyk Budzynski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Egbert Nijveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Fryderyk Budzynski made a huge save. 95 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Fryderyk Budzynski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Netherlands walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
