Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Germany's Frank Sachs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Claudio Caniggia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelo Nogueira made in the 6th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Claudio Caniggia. A collision led to SANFINS VLP getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Valdemar Setúbal hit a great ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Claudio Caniggia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SANFINS VLP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Caniggia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Germany booed when SANFINS VLP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chris Mergenthaler kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhuang Fan Zhen in the 18th minute of play. David Prada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 21st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Prada saved SANFINS VLP from getting behind. In the 26th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Prada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Prada having to make a save. David Prada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. The supporters of SANFINS VLP booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudio Caniggia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Caniggia, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhuang Fan Zhen in the 55th minute of play. Eduardo Viana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with David Prada in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhuang Fan Zhen in the 65th minute of the match. Eduardo Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Caniggia in the 69th minute of play. Zhuang Fan Zhen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Germany's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Sachs in the 76th minute. After 76 minutes, Inocencio Salbatore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SANFINS VLP and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. 76 minutes into the game, one of SANFINS VLP:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. David Prada had in the 77thth minute some difficulties stopping Frank Sachs's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Frank Sachs scored 1-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Prada, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhuang Fan Zhen in the 81st minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Linus Schwerner hit a great ball. In the 84th minute of the match Basílio Silveira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn skillfully saved the ball. Frank Sachs made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 89thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but David Prada would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. With his leg David Prada managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Germany's Frank Sachs fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to SANFINS VLP getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Angelo Nogueira hit a great ball. The SANFINS VLP supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Germany's performance. The match ended with a win for Germany.
