Ciro Martelli hit a great ball. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Celso de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Janik Vogt kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Celso de Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 23 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. When Donato Goiz came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Goiz couldn't finish the play. Germany's attentive Linus Schwerner managed to snatch the ball when Ciro Martelli made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. 34 minutes into the match, Donato Goiz notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 40 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Goiz came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Donato Goiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donato Goiz to strike the kick off in the second half. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Goiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Goiz in the 57th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emilio Persichetti who took care of the corner kick. Donato Goiz took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's Comunardo Proietto was substituted for He Hai Fei. G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's Alvaro Nobile was substituted for Rafael Leão. In the 74th minute of the match Alberigo Montini sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Nobile in the 76th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Chris Mergenthaler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Goiz in the 79th minute of play.
