Philip Boffin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, The Original Wonderteam's Alek Candries ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alek Candries, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, The Original Wonderteam's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Philip Boffin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Arnout Reekers managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when The Original Wonderteam's Alek Candries fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Original Wonderteam's Philip Boffin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 36th minute of play. Philip Boffin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kees Mooiweer to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, The Original Wonderteam's Valko De Hond sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Alek Candries made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the game, Ronny Rau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Original Wonderteam's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. After 50 played minutes The Original Wonderteam got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Rau. Alek Candries recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alek Candries, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Karl Slegers hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to The Original Wonderteam getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Karl Slegers hit a great ball. The Original Wonderteam made a substitution. Benjamin Specht replaced Valko De Hond. After a rather tough play, The Original Wonderteam's Karl Slegers got a free kick in the 66th minute. Constantijn Belmans made in the 68th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Giovanny Verhengen immediately put the ball in play. 72 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Alek Candries came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to The Original Wonderteam getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Giovanny Verhengen hit a great ball. The Original Wonderteam's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Giovanny Verhengen in the 86th minute. After taking down the ball on The Original Wonderteam's corner Giovanny Verhengen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Kees Mooiweer got a free kick in the 88th minute. The The Original Wonderteam support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
