Kurzawka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lukasz Fleischer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kurzawka's Witalis Wojtyna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Jilek in the 18th minute of play. Erik Jilek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Czech Republic's zone, Lukasz Fleischer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal and Lukasz Fleischer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kurzawka's Miroslaw Zagrodny managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Valdemar Turecek in the 29 minute of the game. Dalimil Charvat made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kurzawka's Miroslaw Zagrodny. 35 minutes into the game, Dalimil Charvat threw the ball into play from the sideline. Kurzawka's Miroslaw Zagrodny quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Jilek in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Witalis Wojtyna saved Kurzawka from getting behind. Witalis Wojtyna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Rezek in the 39th minute of play. Kurzawka's Lukasz Fleischer managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Svatopluk Capek in the 42 minute of the game. Kurzawka's Lukasz Fleischer quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bohumir Kohout, made in the 47th minute of the game.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erik Jilek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Lukasz Fleischer came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Kurzawka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lukasz Fleischer couldn't finish the play. In the 66th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svatopluk Capek to maneuver through the defense. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Szel, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. When Dalimil Charvat fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Czech Republic's protests and gave Dalimil Charvat a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Dalimil Charvat. The throw-in from Dalimil Charvat in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kurzawka's Miroslaw Zagrodny. 80 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Lukasz Fleischer came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Vitek got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 88th minute, Daniel Vitek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kurzawka's Gwidon Radzyminski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Svatopluk Capek in the 92 minute of the game. Kurzawka were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
