Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilton Vale started the match with the kick off. When Sostene Vitulli came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sostene Vitulli couldn't finish the play. Wilton Vale scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavio Vittori, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rodolfo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Wilton Vale in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Flavio Vittori, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute of the match Italy got a corner. TAQUARI FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. 29 minutes into the game, Gomberto Picozzi threw the ball into play from the sideline. TAQUARI FC's Joakim Felin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A sloppy throw-in by Gianpaolo Mascari in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by TAQUARI FC's Frank Lampard. Frank Lampard hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Vale in the 32nd minute of the match. Italy's attentive Sigfrido Auletta managed to snatch the ball when Joakim Felin made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. Rodolfo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Zaccheo Andolina came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zaccheo Andolina couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Italy's Deodato Magliozzi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rodolfo Salgado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 43rd minute, Zaccheo Andolina made a precise shot to the right of Rodolfo Salgado. TAQUARI FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

54 minutes had been played when some careless play by TAQUARI FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. Sigfrido Auletta made a great header on Italy's corner, it was just that TAQUARI FC's Rodolfo Salgado managed to reach the ball for a save. 57 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Rodolfo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Italy were awarded a corner. Sigfrido Auletta went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 63rd minute, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Rodolfo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TAQUARI FC made a substitution. Geraldo Moura replaced Kabiru Rotimi. Italy's attentive Eliseo Cutri managed to snatch the ball when Joakim Felin made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. Wilton Vale might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Vittori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilton Vale ran back to his position shaking his head. After 85 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Cutri. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Eliseo Cutri hit a great ball. Wilton Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilton Vale in the 87th minute of play. Adriano Curto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Rodolfo Salgado skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Italy played a much better game than TAQUARI FC and deserved their victory. The TAQUARI FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
