In the 16th minute, Izydor Limanowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Koffidis came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriele Koffidis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 27th playminute. 35 minutes into the game, Germany's Frank Sachs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olav Pepeldzhiyski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When Albin Holweck came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albin Holweck couldn't finish the play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriele Koffidis in the 59th minute of the match. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Koffidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Koffidis in the 77th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
